I got a lovely surprise from my parents today, though primarily my father, as I was walking around Tesco’s after meeting my parents in there, where my dad bought me Ninja Gaiden II as a present for the crap time I’ve had lately (read below), which is amazing, because I really want to play Metal Fear Solid 4 and Ninja Gaiden 2 but couldn’t afford either, I now have one on rental and had one bought, so I think I’ll trade Grand Theft Auto IV, which I have completed twice now, one of which was 100%, in towards Metal Gear Solid 4 as I feel I should own that.

So when my eyes aren’t so sore and blurry I have Ninja Gaiden II to play and if I’m being honest, I REALLY cannot wait. It looks fantastic and it will be challenging – and I love a challenge.

I’m fully expecting another Team Ninja sadist game like their others – they thrive on making games close to impossible, but it makes a nice change from some games which are quite frankly too easy these days.

I’ve heard reports from both McDaniel and Davey_Pitch that this is going to be something rather special, so hoping my eyes are going to be okay tomorrow so I can play it!
