As many of you will have heard me mention on here before, I’m a massive fan of Television shows, predominantly American Television, but rare British based TV shows are also on my radar. More often than not I’ll also wait to buy them on DVD before watching them.
I aim to complete all of my collections to the final seasons, but as with the cost of TV shows, this takes time due to financial reasons, but I’ll get there in the end.
The reason for collecting and watching TV shows is two-fold. Firstly, I like getting involved with characters over time, whether this stems from my enjoyment in reading books I don’t know, but I much prefer it over more instant formats such as movies. I also don’t get bored of shows like I do with movies which is a massive plus, especially as a lot of TV shows on DVD only cost twice as much as a new movie on DVD/Blu-Ray, but lasts much longer and I can watch time and time again. I also enjoy putting TV shows on and working away doing 3D work, or more monotonous games such as Driving games. I know some of my friends find it odd that I do this and also keep perfect track of what’s on the TV whilst getting plenty of work done, thankfully it’s a skill that works massively in my favour… Where other people put music on I put the TV on.
