23SepThis Week, I has been mostly…

Since losing the Internet, the time I’d spend doing productive (and some none-productive) things on the net has been spent watching movies, a lot of movies.

In fact, in the first week of not having any Internet access at all I have watched:

The Bucket List (x2)
The Family Stone
Just Married
Mona Lisa Smile
The Breakfast Club
Rush Hour 3
Little Miss Sunshine
Bridget Jones’s Diary
Euro Trip (x2)
The Holiday
Thirteen
Smart People
27 Dresses
Meet The Spartans

I have also been watching TV  shows such as Point Pleasant, Dexter and Angel. Quite frightening really.

I do find it east to put something on, particularly TV shows and model away in 3D Studio Max, it’s pretty damn relaxing. I do enjoy it quite a lot, doing modelling in silence is annoying and doing it to songs is just as bad as clock-watching – every time it changes songs it’s like 4 or 5 minutes have gone past. I have knocked up 5 or 6 little assets, sadly none of them are textured due to a lack of tablet (I really must get one when I get a job) and a lack of Internet for reference.

I’ll try and get them posted as soon as I get them textured.

I really need my net back or to get out more, I don’t mind which…

Not a bad selection at all, what was Little Miss Sunshine like?

It was pretty good to be fair, although nothing mind blowing. It does the same thing as all these other ‘indie’ films do in that you watch it and at the end go ‘aww’, then never think about it again – I had the same thing with Juno.

The acting in this was actually very good though, then again, it should be with such an experienced cast, though Alan Arkin, Steve Carrell and Greg Kinnears performances still stood out.

Go watch Dan in Real Life next! It’s good.
