Well, the new season of US TV has started and as expected, it’s all started together thanks to the writers strike. Major shows have all continued such as Heroes, now on season 3, Dexter on season 3, House on season 5 and thankfully for me, Dirty Sexy Money on season 2.
Last season, for me, the best of the TV shows were Dirty Sexy Money and Reaper, the former being absolutely thrilling from beginning to end, I can’t ever remember being gutted by the end of a season more.
I implore you to see it. It’s released on DVD from the 20th October. It’s brilliant.
Having so many TV shows I’m like a kid in a candy shop. I don’t know which one to watch!!
Have you seen Chuck? It’s an action comedy created by Josh Schwartz (who created the O.C.). The plot sounds a bit zany (geek working in a Costco-style store gets government secrets downloaded into his brain) but it’s great fun, the perfect antidote if you have been watching too many serious dramas.
I’m also watching Heroes, though the plot twists seem to have sucked out the drama (oh noes, it’s Sylar, I’m so scared) and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, though that is a bit of a guilty pleasure at to be frank, it’s awful.
I know all about Chuck, but I was waiting for the DVD to be released, unfortunately I don’t have the money for it at the moment. I am a big, big fan of Zachary Levi from his performances in Less Than Perfect though.
