I swear to christ, every single racing game these days seems to have this hell hole of a driving circuit and Project Gotham Racing 4 is no different. I recently went back to it and started playing it. I’ve not really put too many hours into the game, or at least it doesn’t feel like too many, and I’m one race off completing Arcade Mode on Platinum, it’s the ‘Beheamoth’ race, race 6 of the penultimate race series, a 7 minute race if you do it well. I put 2.5 hours solid into it last night (as well as previous efforts in the last couple of days) and regularly got 5 minutes in before some assclown in a Ferrari (either the F50 GT or FXX, it varies) knocks me out the way. Tossers.
I’m so sick of racing this track now. It was fun back in Project Gotham Racing 2, but we’ve seen it in pretty much everything since that’s a ‘proper’ racing game, and all the major ones which means Project Gotham Racing 3, Forza Motorsport 2 and Project Gotham Racing 4. It’s now becoming a little bit tiresome. Surely there are other tracks in the world they could use, hell, even city tracks are superior. Two of Project Gotham Racing 4′s new tracks absolutely batter it in terms of enjoyment, those being Macau and Quebec and whilst Shanghai isn’t to the same standard, it’s again better than The Ring. In fact, I’d say all the other tracks are superior. What do you think?
GET IN THERE
.
I wouldn’t mind, twice I cocked the last corner up and lost on the final bend. It turned out to be easy after learning the track by key features in relation to lap times. Great. They can keep The Ring in games now =].

hehe I remember the Beheamoth thing, quite liked it too. Although never bothered with platinum
They are all good tracks and your always going to see it in these types of racing games as they are all cult tracks imo.
I think its the triggers on your controller mate, you’d do better with a Dual Shock 3!
I’d have no games to play with it though :p.
lol Don’t make me use my cut and paste list! :p
Can’t stand the track. I hated it on PGR3, I hated it in Forza (i think it was forza) and I hated it in PGR4…and any other racing game. It is just endless and never stops!
