19Jan2008 Awards

Every year I try to, but often forget, to list my favourite things about the previous year from my areas of interest, sadly I lack any form of conistency, but after originally posting this on Jan 1st then removing it to add more detail, I don’t have the time, nor inclination to write up my reasons, although that may change in the future. Poor list in my opinion karlo. Fallout 3 offered nothing new and had nothing previously seen in Oblivion etc. Fable 2 was infinitely better, having more original ideas and more longevity. Dead Space left you wanting more and was graphically awesome, not to mention the arse nip moments!
As for multiplayer, you can’t beat Fifa 09 (and although it goes against my previous criteria of having nothing original) it improved on an already amazing multiplayer game. You also failed to mention COD: World at war which is pretty much smack on to COD4 (apart from the quality of the maps) which we both buchered last year!
Thought you would have mentioned Mirror’s Edge for best score.
Best TV show i would have given to Dexter or Entourage but the best actor has GOT TO go to Jeremy Piven. You said yourself that he’s one of the best TV show characters of all time!
Agree with the Da Silva twins and certainly Vela.

    “Disappointment: Burnout Paradise”

No way! That was one of the last 360 I played and its was in a word, epic imo. Even though getting 100% completion stole ~ 80 hours of my life, it was all worth it for the platinum car :)

Wow, that text is BIG! Some great picks here. And THANK YOU for saying that Dane Cook should go away and never come back. The wife and I agree!

I laugh at how you present yourself as a fair and reasonable person and then you go and do ridiculously biased things (such as give 4 out of 5 of your awards to the club you support (that you don’t even live close to)).

Grow up you pathetic little child. That’s not bias, it did help that the team in question won the European Cup and Premier League and the player in question won World Player of the Year.

This will be the last comment you ever get approved until you change your ridiculous attitude. You’ve tried to make it personal between me and you over a banning which was your fault on a public forum… seriously, it’s only a forum.

Not a bad list there, but is there any chance you can reduce the HUGE fonts as it’s quite difficult to work out who won what award :p

Did you give the award to Ubi for Far Cry 2?

    Cristiano Ronaldo….

    # Ballon d’Or: 2008
    # FIFA World Player of the Year: 2008

    Man Utd…

    # Back to back premierleague
